A Japanese-dubbed version was released on December 16, 2010. After six weeks on release, Activision reported that Black Ops had exceeded $1 billion in sales.[13] On August 3, 2011, Activision confirmed that the game had sold over 25 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling game of all time in the US, UK and Europe.[14][15][16] A sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, was released on November 13, 2012.[17]
