Mozete lagati kolko hocete al strani mediji pisu ovako --Massive protests have erupted in Bosnia- Herzogovina. Protests began when workers from State run enterprises where laid off in the Northern town of Tuzla.
The unemployed and students quickly joined the protests which escalated into clashes with state forces as police attacked the demostrators.
Unemployment is nearly 28% in the country.
Workers have occupied and set fire to Government buildings.
Hana Obradovic, an unemployed philosophy and political science graduate took part in the rally.
“Our government sold state companies for peanuts, leaving people without their pensions or social security,” she said.
“Their families have nothing to eat, while our politicians sit in these institutions and steal from people.”
The Tuzla protests are made up largely of workers who were laid off when state-owned companies were sold then collapsed under privatisation.
