After conceding a goal, the opposition are allowed to kick off and resume play immediately if all 10 outfield players are off the pitch. However, there’s another caveat to that. If the player(s) who choose not to celebrate for the greater good are still in their own half, the opposition will still be allowed to kick off. Teams aren’t allowed to kick off if one player remains on their side of the pitch and within the boundaries of the touchlines.
