Miley Cyrus ispunila želju obožavateljici oboljeloj od raka: Sama joj je obrijala glavu

Jacobs je na društvenim mrežama objavila video u kojem je zamolila pjevačicu za to, a njen tim je zatim organizovao susret. Cyrus ju je dočekala iza bine nakon koncerta u Hollywood Bowlu 18. oktobra i sama joj mašinicom obrijala kosu.

Snimku susreta Jacobs je objavila u srijedu uz zahvalu pjevačici što je pristala na njenu molbu.

Miley not only flew me back out to LA with tickets to night 2 at the Hollywood Bowl but she took the time to meet me after and help me through one of the scariest and most intimate moments of my life. Finding out I had breast cancer, getting a port put in my chest and starting chemo was hard enough as it is. Never mind the side effects I’d soon be facing from the chemo. Her music has always lifted me in some of the hardest times of my life. And when they pass, I can listen to her songs and be reminded that I got through it and came out stronger. Between major depressive episodes and finding out I have stage 3 breast cancer. I am lucky enough to have reached her and her team and been given this opportunity of a lifetime. And that’s not to be said without thanking the power of the internet and all the people that helped me make this wish come true. UNREAL. Miley is the softest, coolest, KINDEST, and most genuine human being I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting and spending time with. And not to mention her SHAVING MY F***ING HEAD!!!!! WHAT?!? I want to hold on to this moment and to always remember the conversations we had and what they mean for me. And more importantly, what they did for me at a time like this. Na početku videa Cyrus je upitala: "Zar ćemo to stvarno uraditi?", a zatim se našalila: "Već sam se ranije brijala na nulu."

Tokom susreta pokušala je ohrabriti obožavateljicu i poručila joj da ne mora skrivati emocije.

"Možeš istovremeno biti i nježna i snažna", rekla joj je, dodajući da je normalno u isto vrijeme osjećati i strah i odlučnost da se izbori s bolešću. Kazala je i da "svako pati na svoj način".

Potom je uzela mašinicu i pred ogledalom počela brijati glavu Jacobs uz riječi: "Idemo, curo, uradimo to." U opisu objave i kasnijem videu na TikToku Jacobs je otkrila koliko joj je susret značio.

"Miley mi nije samo platila let za Los Angeles i ulaznice za drugu večer u Hollywood Bowlu, nego je odvojila vrijeme da se nađemo nakon koncerta i pomogla mi u jednom od najstrašnijih i najintimnijih trenutaka u mom životu", napisala je.

Kako je navela, muzika Miley Cyrus više puta joj je pomogla u teškim periodima. Svoju želju pokušala je prenijeti pjevačici preko društvenih mreža, a poruka je na kraju stigla do njenog tima.

Susret je opisala kao "priliku života" i "ostvarenje želje", ističući da ju je iznenadilo što je Cyrus odmah pristala.

"Miley je najnježnije, najkul, najljubaznije i najiskrenije ljudsko biće koje sam ikada imala čast upoznati i s kojim sam provela vrijeme", napisala je Jacobs.
